Internet access and value-added computer services provider Sitestar
Corporation has announced that it has purchased Canadian-based Netrover,
Inc. effective January 1, 2006. The company will gain a further 7,000
customers through the acquisition including web hosting customers, dial-up
and Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) Internet subscribers, and customers of
other Netrover services.
The acquisition offers Sitestar greater exposure in Canada, complementing the
company’s plans to improve its customer base in North America. "The
acquisition of Netrover bolsters both the financial and business position of
Sitestar," said Daniel A. Judd, CFO, a Sitestar spokesman. "Netrover is
profitable, strengthens our balance sheet and increases our customer base and

Internet America, Inc., a Dallas-based provider of Internet access services,
yesterday announced that Jennifer S. LeBlanc, CPA has been named Chief
Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer of the company.
LeBlanc previously held audit management positions with PKF of Texas and

Web hosting provider Steadfast Networks will build a new data center at the
Lakeside Technology Center owned by Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (an owner and
manager of data centers) in Chicago, USA. The new data center is expected to
become operational in January 2006.
